Job description
A highly respected law firm is searching for its next rising star property litigator to join its Legal 500 team in Chester on the path to Partnership.
You’ll have between two and eight years PQE and depending on your experience, will join as a Solicitor, Associate or Senior Associate. Working as part of a close-knit (but growing), experienced team you’ll enjoy unfettered progression all the way up to Partnership ahead of your peers.
Your competitive salary will be boosted by a market-leading bonus scheme of 20%, based on performance, and you’ll enjoy hybrid working to boot. The firm also offers an enhanced annual leave allowance and pension provision, healthcare scheme, death in service and subsidised parking scheme.
Working alongside a Legal 500 recommend lawyer, you’ll grow your expertise quickly, advising on a mixed caseload of property litigation, including landlord & tenant, dilapidations, professional negligence and partnership disputes cases.
You’ll be able to flex and grow your leadership skills, with support, as you’ll supervise your own trainee, who will support you on your cases. And, if business development is your thing, you’ll be able to get involved to drive the growth of the team.
The department has a fantastic reputation, a growing caseload of good quality work available. The firm has a fantastic employee retention record. Many of the firm’s partners and senior management team have been with the firm since solicitor or associate-level, demonstrating the unrivalled career path you could forge here.
Quite unusually, there are also non-traditional routes to management for those lawyers who aren’t sure they want to remain fee-earning for the rest of their career.
