Duration: Until Easter, with the potential for extension

About the Role: As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant in Ellesmere Port, you will be working closely with a remarkable child, providing dedicated 1:1 support. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a student with selective mutism and autism. You will play a crucial role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, fostering both academic and social development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Offer tailored support to the student to enhance their engagement and participation in class activities.
* Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalized strategies for the student's development.
* Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment to ensure the student's well-being and academic progress.

Requirements:

* Experience working with children with selective mutism and autism is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position, 5 days per week, with school hours from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
