As a Mini Farm Coordinator, you will assume a pivotal role in the supervision and management of a mini farm within the setting of our learning disability care home. Your responsibilities encompass the creation of a therapeutic and inclusive environment, fostering opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities to participate in purposeful activities centred around farming, gardening, and animal care. In this capacity, you will take the lead in guaranteeing the safety and well-being of all residents as they access these areas, ensuring a welcoming and secure atmosphere. Additionally, your role extends to monitoring the residents' experiences and the welfare of the animals throughout these engaging activities. Kingsley Specialist Services provides support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs who would benefit from living in a more peaceful setting.
