Due to an extended period of exponential growth, we are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead our diverse range of automation projects.
About The Mechanical Design Engineer Role
The Mechanical Design Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design and development of automation projects, working closely with project managers and cross-functional teams. They will be responsible for ensuring the successful realisation of design concepts into functional and efficient mechanical systems.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for:
'' Developing detailed mechanical designs for automation projects.
'' Collaborating with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements.
'' Utilizing CAD software to create 3D models and 2D drawings.
'' Performing structural analysis and simulations to validate design concepts.
'' Selecting appropriate materials and components for mechanical systems.
'' Ensuring designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
'' Providing technical support during the manufacturing and assembly process.
'' Contributing to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
A successful Mechanical Design Engineer will need:
'' 5+ years' experience in mechanical design, preferably in automation or machinery projects.
'' Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
'' Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
'' Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
'' Clean Driving License.
