Job description

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Teaching Assistant to work primarily in our KS1 classroom part time from 15th April 2024 or as soon as possible thereafter. This post is for 12 hours per week (to be worked 10 - 12 Monday to Friday, including break duty, plus 2 hours one afternoon) term time only. Additional hours may be available according to the needs of the school.

The successful candidate will:

• Be enthusiastic, capable, creative and hard working
• Able to work well as part of a strong team
• Have an appropriate level of expertise, qualifications and/or experience
• Understand the needs of children and appreciate a therapeutic approach to behaviour
• Have a sense of humour
