SEN Teaching Assistant for distinguished
Schools (Primary and Secondary) in
Winchester and to provide crucial support. We extend a warm invitation to enthusiastic individuals, irrespective of qualifications, to join our team as
SEN Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate required for this role will be,
resilient, patient , committed and have a positive attitude to better the lives of their pupils. The role will involve supporting students with
Severe Learning disability/PMLD and can be personal care involved also helping to keep the students engaged in their learning.
As the ideal SEN Teaching Assistant, you should have experience in:
- Special Educational Needs, Emotional, Social, Literacy, and Numeracy difficulties.
- Supporting young people with Autism, Speech, Language, and Communication Needs.
- Previous experience in a 1:1 support, personal care, or Teaching Assistant position.
- Experience catering to Autism/ MLD children is ideal.
To work with GSL Education as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you should:
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Possess at least 6 months of experience in an educational setting or the health care sector.
- Provide an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last 2 years.
- Hold a DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

and understanding of safeguarding and child protection or willingness to take a course on safeguarding and that successful applicants must satisfy all background recruitment checks including an
enhanced DBS on the update service .
