About the Role
We are seeking a passionate experienced individual to join our Inclusion and Support as Manager at our Lackham campus. In this key role, you will work closely with the Head of Inclusion and Support to develop the SEND provision offer creating an environment of continuous development and improvement.
This role is based at our Lackham campus which focuses on Land Based studies with two working farms and facilities for residential students. The role is key in supporting students in being the best they can be through interventions which ensure they are able to access their chosen field of study.
Within this role, you will also contribute towards the delivery of high quality SEND provision for our students, working to continue delivering SEND provision that prepares students for independence and to achieve their potential.
About You
An ideal candidate for the role of Inclusion and Support Manager is a highly motivated, passionate individual who takes a student-centred approach to SEND provision. You will have working knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and understand the content of the government SEND and Alternative Provision Improvement Plan. You may also be an experienced practitioner who has demonstrated a clear understanding of how to use effective strategies to engage students in their learning.
You will be flexible in your approach in order to be able to deliver the right support at the right time, work effectively within a team and able to collaborate with the Head of Department, the other managers, curriculum teams and wider stakeholders to achieve collective goals. You will also be able to understand the college's objectives, sharing our mission and vision to nurture a culture of growth and improvement in an inclusive and collaborative environment.
You will hold a degree or equivalent professional qualification in teaching/SEND or commensurate experience in the area.
