A professional couple are seeking a Nanny to care for their 8 month old baby at their home nr Billigham, Stockton on Tees

The ideal Nanny will be an experienced childcarer, with an excellent understanding of the needs of young children. Someone who is confident in sole charge as parents will be working during the week. The family are looking for a Nanny who is available from 7:30 to 18:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays around nursery days on Monday and Friday (which may need cover on occasion if available)

The family are seeking an energetic and caring Nanny, who is able to provide lots of opportunities to develop learning through play and support milestones through their knowledge of the early years. They are willing to consider a Junior Nanny, who has come from a long-term role within nurseries and has the maturity and competence to Nanny in sole charge, and would be very keen to hear from experienced Nannies who have held similar roles. Someone with a warm and lovely personality who is well versed in the care of babies and toddlers. You must be passionate about children and be looking for a long-term role.

It is preferred for the Nanny to be a driver with their own car, but not essential. The family also require a nanny who would be happy with cats, as the family have 2 young cats who will need some over and feeding.

The Nanny's duties will include:
• Full day care of the baby
• Prepare food - homemade nutritious meals.
• Help the baby achieve her milestones with activities and games that are age appropriate and focus on cognitive skills, motor development, emotional and social development, communication and language skills, etc.
• Plan and attend local classes, play groups and play dates as agreed with parents
• Incorporate lots of outdoor play opportunities
• Keep the baby's play areas tidy, normal nursery duties to include keeping the nursery clean, washing up and tidy and taking care of baby's laundry.

Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hours: 7:30-18:00
Salary: Negotiable, dependant on experience
