Porter
Salary : £23,212.11
Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire CV10 0TU
Hours: Monday - Friday 40 HPW
Main duties:
- Moving of furniture and equipment from building to building
- Stewarding for events
- Deliveries using works vehicles
- Litter picking and grounds clearance
- Waste management
- Emptying external waste/recycling receptacles
- Contractor support
- Building/dismantling furniture
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Painting support
- Assist managing the archive & offsite storage process/procedures
Requirements:
- Physically fit and capable of working indoors and outdoors in all elements
- Health and safety standards and awareness are critical
- Full clean UK driving license
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Contribute to the Property & Facilities team to ensure that the business is supported correctly & carry out its daily functions without interruption. All requests should be completed in a timely and appropriate manner by gibing the best advice possible
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Ability to display initiative, confidence and professionalism
- Take pride in your work and ability to work within a team
- Ability to use electronic tablet devices
Preferred:
- Fork lift truck trained
- Banksman trained
- IPAF trained
- PASMA trained
