The role: An exciting opportunity to play a vital role in delivery of the global internal communications strategy by planning and managing a range of communication tools that will help engage and inform our 82,000 people around the world. You’ll be part of a team that helps drive commitment to Bupa’s purpose and brand, to improve business results by helping our people understand our vision and strategy. Your role will focus on supporting the delivery of innovative employee communications campaigns and activities that promote two of Bupa’s strategic pillars – Sustainability and Growth. There’s lots to do so we’re looking for someone who can speak up, step up, have new ideas and make things happen. What you’ll be doing: Planning, creating and delivering engaging content in line with business objectives, for our internal communications platform Workvivo – articles, creating and editing videos, newsletters, blogs, gifs etc Identifying communications opportunities to grow and engage the online sustainability community. Working with creative agencies on priority projects Supporting the delivery of live in-person and virtual events as identified in the overall internal communications plan. This may cover small face-to-face sessions through to large-scale town hall meetings at Angel Court, London or other Bupa sites worldwide. Helping to design and deliver robust reporting evaluation methods to measure the success of internal communications. Contributing new ideas and approaches to delivering world-class communications. Assisting with other internal communication projects and campaigns and assisting the IC team. You: Strong communication skills with an ability to flex styles depending on purpose, audience and stakeholder. Focused on delivery and do this on brief, on budget and on time. An enthusiastic advocate of effective internal communication and the appropriateness of the various tools and channels. Demonstrate strong and flexible writing skills including high standard announcements, copy for publications, scripts and campaign plans. Be committed to evaluation and measurement. Be IT literate, including experience using social media and ideally other comms publishing platforms. Work collaboratively both internally and with external suppliers and agencies. Willing to pitch in to help other communication colleagues on initiatives. A personable self-starter - enthusiastic, persuasive and diplomatic. Have creative flair and empathy with our values.
