Job description
The States of Guernsey are looking to appoint a Deputy Sister (Charge Nurse) for the Orthopaedic Departments; De Sausmarez and De Havilland Wards.
The Deputy Sister/Charge nurse will support the ward manager with leading the team across the Orthopaedic wards on a day-to-day basis. Providing clinical leadership. Supporting colleagues to plan, monitor and evaluate skilled and appropriate care for their patients and ensure the provision of evidence based care. The Deputy Sister/Charge nurse must act as a role model in providing specialist knowledge within the Orthopaedic wards, working as part of a team supporting and developing colleagues by mentoring and assessing their skills. The Orthopaedic staff rotate between the two wards to allow for their ongoing training and development.Job tags
