About the Role
Are you passionate about Automotive and Motorsport Engineering? Do you have industry experience or currently work in Further Education? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you to join our team as a Lecturer in Automotive at our Chippenham campus.
As a Lecturer in Automotive, you will bring real-world expertise and practical insights to our Level 1 and Level 2 Automotive and Motorsport Engineering courses. Your industry experience will be invaluable in preparing our students for successful careers in this dynamic field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sharing your industry knowledge and insights with students.
- Delivering engaging and relevant teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Developing innovative schemes of work and lesson plans.
- Providing guidance and support to students to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaborating with industry partners to enhance our curriculum and provide valuable work placement opportunities.
This role offers you the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students, equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the Automotive and Motorsport industry.
About You
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Substantial industry experience in Automotive and/or Motorsport engineering.
- A passion for sharing their expertise and helping others succeed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience working in Further Education is desirable but not essential.
