Our client, a renowned and leading pharmaceutical company, are looking to recruit a Medical Sales Specialist (within Centralised Solutions - Blood Sciences) to join their diverse, hardworking and supportive team in London.
This role will be field based, so you must have a full UK driving licence and be open to travelling across London. Equally, you must live within a commutable distance from central London.
The role is a 14 month secondment and is on a full-time basis, offering a highly competitive salary and an excellent benefits package (to be discussed in further detail if application is successful).

Responsibilities as a Medical Sales Specialist - Taking a lead in the account sales strategy and execution for the product portfolio on your territory, you will work closely with Customer Account Managers, Product Specialists, Managed Laboratory Service Team and Workflow IT Specialists.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships with all key stakeholders in the NHS and develop innovative strategies to acquire, grow and retain business, in line with sales objectives.
- Managing and actively contributing to tender procurements, utilising self-discipline and a creative approach to ensure sales methodology is delivered on time and in full. This will involve engagement with all levels of the key decision-making team, including senior management.
- Identifying market development and changes in the NHS landscape on your territory (payment, procurement, tendering, and NHS processes) to maximise opportunities/minimise threats.
Experience / Skills - Educated to BSc / BA Degree or equivalent (experience of complex field sales or knowledge or laboratories)
- Skilled in defining customer needs and building & maintaining relationships
Full UK Driving Licence - Resilience, tenacity and flexibility
- Self-motivated, focused and methodical
- Excellent team player with strong communication skills

Job Title: Medical Sales Specialist
Location: Field-based across London - must live in commutable distance to central London
Salary: £153.81 - £225 PAYE per day basic, excluding holiday pay
