Location: Leicester

Salary: £35,000 - £43,000

Design & Manufacturing company providing a wide range of services to the
Aerospace and Automotive industries, and high-profile clients. Due to team & project growth an opportunity has arisen for a
Mechanical Design Engineer to join on a permanent basis.
Mechanical Design Engineer Key Responsibilities: - Creating layout designs for quoting purposes.
- Generating the technical design and specifications for the broach tool according to customer inquiries.
- Developing 2D and 3D CAD production drawings with Autodesk Inventor.
- Assisting the Technical Department in analysing root causes of technical issues and offering design assistance.
- Providing technical support to the production department for inquiries
Key Skills & Qualifications: - Minium Qualification required is a HNC or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in a previous Engineering Design role using 2D and 3D CAD Software (Autodesk Inventor preferred).
- Experience within a Precision Engineering setting is preferrable.
