What is the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Support Co-ordinator , working 35 hours per week.
Primary location: Kilmarnock Court, however you will be expected to cover all areas of South West locality.
Reporting directly to a Locality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring, within your Service(s), that VSS’slocal service development and delivery plan is being implemented within your geographical area(s). Servicedelivery is provided by a team of skilled and knowledgeable volunteers, you will be responsible for planningtheir deployment to ensure that the service delivered meets the desired outcomes of victims and witnesses ofcrime, our service users. Responsible for all aspects of a volunteer engagement with VSS at your services,including recruitment, induction, learning and development, ongoing performance management and support.Contributing to business planning and co-ordination ensuring that continuous learning takes place to monitorthat the outcomes of service users are being met.

What you’ll need to be successful
We are looking for someone who is experienced in a similar role and can evidence of continuing professionaldevelopment, effective leadership style, able to build confidence, motivate and improve performance. Analyticalskills, must be able to understand, collect, analyse, report and present data. The ability to challengestereotyping, prejudice, discrimination and bias. Good working knowledge of the voluntary/charity sector isrequired, as is a willingness to be flexible in working hours and able to travel as required.

The Stirling Extended Wellbeing Service (EWBS) is aimed at supporting the work of our well established CaledonianWomen and Children’s service
The successful candidate will work with women who have been referred to our Caledonian Women’s Service but whose riskhas been effectively managed and who are stable in terms of their safety but whom still have on-going issuesrelated to the trauma they have sustained. The EWBS Support Worker and the woman would work together andmaintain focus on mental health and wellbeing, empowerment, personal growth and independence. The EWBS supportworker will regularly link in with our Caledonian Women’s Service to ensure that risk and safety continue to bemonitored.
We are looking for candidates who have a sound knowledge of domestic abuse (what it is and how it works) and whounderstand the effects on the women and children we support.
They will need to be an effective communicator, highly organised and have effective casework management skills. Theywill work closely with other partners and agencies and be expected to ensure the continued development of goodpartnership working.

As The National Partnership Manager, you will report directly to the Head of Strategic Partnerships & BusinessDevelopment function for Scotland. You will manage a team of embedded Senior Project Officers working within thepartner national organisations and delivering in partnership with a broad range of local stakeholders to developand deliver local Active Travel Strategies, Visions and Plans.
You will work closely with colleagues to secure funding for our work, capturing and communicating the impacts ofbetter places for people. You will ensure our for everyone values – to strengthen diversity and inclusion acrossthe charity, whilst ensuring that a more systematic approach to the embedding of our ‘for everyone’ principlespermeates through our work.
You will advocate for sustainable transport across the region, and you will use that platform to influence localdecision makers, through engaging in policy and planning work, leading on communications, and contributing to acoordinated approach to business development opportunities in Scotland.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships with key people across governance tiers within nationalpartner organizations. You will work with internal and external partners to build the team’s knowledge andcapacity around inclusive programme design and delivery. In this respect, working to ensure that our partnershipprogrammes are for everyone and do not have unintended consequences for disadvantaged population groups.
This role will require travel and work at locations as necessary to undertake projects on behalf of Sustrans.
About you
You should be an experienced leader, expert at developing and maintaining relationships at senior levels in a varietyof sectors e.g. National organizations, Local Authority, business and industry bodies. You should have linemanagement experience and substantial experience of project management, including budget management.
You must have the ability to communicate authoritatively and persuasively to a range of audiences, with demonstrableexperience of remote and face-to-face partnership development techniques.
