Job description
We are working with an outstanding and caring organisation dedicated to providing high-quality residential care and long-term support services to Children in Northamptonshire. Their main priority is always to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment to the children and young people which they support. With just the one location located near Northampton, they are dedicated to offering a family run, child-centred approach to their care.
As a Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care and support in a 3-bed EBD provision in the Northampton area. Your expertise, knowledge, and NVQ Level 3 qualification will enable you to provide effective guidance and leadership to a team of residential support workers across all the homes. You will work closely with the management team to ensure the smooth running of their services and contribute to the continuous improvement of their support programs.
Successful applicants must have a minimum NVQ Level 3 qualification in Children & Young People / Health and Social Care (or equivalent). Due to the role, it is also required that you have proven experience working in a residential care setting, ideally with children or you will be passionate about moving into the children’s sector from an adults residential setting. It is desirable for successful applicants to have a driving license due to all 3 children being keen to do outdoor activities every weekend.
