Key Account Manager - Advanced Wound Care - UK

The Key Account Manager's primary responsibility is to achieve or exceed defined sales revenue targets through strategic planning, relationship building, new account targeting and conversion, utilizing extensive product knowledge and service.

Target accounts and markets will include the NHS (Acute & Community), Wholesalers (Private hospital and Pharmacy groups) and Nursing Homes/Hospices.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage contracts & negotiations with customers, within available pricing structure
• Identify sales prospects and open new accounts
• Reach sales and market share objectives as defined National Sales Manager and Sales Director EMEA
• Analyse sales territory opportunities and growth potential by using market data to identify prospective customers
• Target and develop new account opportunities
• Identify all Key stakeholders in the decision-making process
• Develop written strategic business plans for forecasting and targeting key accounts
• Establish and maintain current customer and potential customers relationships through congresses, workshops, demonstrations, prospective visits

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven success in surgical/Wound Care sales
• Exceptional understanding of the evolving NHS
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills
• Confidence to communicate with established Health care practitioners and other surgical personnel
• Strong negotiation and selling skills
• Interpersonal and political savvy within NHS and formulary environment
• Track record of developing sales plans and executing
• Highly competitive with a strong track record of success
