Estimating Engineer We are currently partnering with engineering experts locally. Our client is a specialist in their field, offering niche engineering to a variety of sectors. A well-established business near the Christchurch area, they are now looking for an Estimating Engineer to join their team in the New Year during this time of planned extended growth following a considerable investment.

Estimating Engineer, Key responsibilities as
Estimating Engineer :
- As an Estimating Engineer you will work through new and repeat quotes, using BOM and parts lists to create our pricing ready for submission to the customer.
- You will identify processes for manufacture, highlighting any areas for concern.
- You would be working with Purchasing to gather material and AGS prices as well as communicating with customers and suppliers directly.
- You will work through Bill of Materials/ Parts to be able to quote for assemblies.
- Estimate type and cost of the tooling required.
The right person:
Estimating Engineer: - Analytical approach
- You will have the ability to understand the methods required to produce components.
- Experienced with CAD
