About You

This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented support workers in Skelmersdale to support 2 people with learning disabilities, cerebral palsy and epilepsy. This is a great opening to make a real difference to the lives of others and gain great development.

 

This service is a bungalow with a large garden and is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. 

 

The people supported here enjoy horse riding, watching tv and films, colouring in and jigsaws. They also enjoy singing and dancing, going shopping and attending the online Community Integrated Care Discos. 

 

They would describe themselves as bubbly, kind and funny. They would love their support workers to be able to have a laugh and have banter and also people who have motivation! 

 

There is usually 1-2 staff members on shift at any time, depending on the 1-1 hours. Typical shift patterns here include: 9-4, 4-10 (Sleep), 9-3, 3-10 (sleep), 10-2.
