Clinical Deputy Manager | Elderly Nursing Home
Salary: £23ph – £51,428 p/a
Location: Brighton/Hove, East Sussex
Qualification: RGN/RMN
Hours: 43 | Occasional weekends
Remit
Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with a leading care home provider as an exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Deputy Manager for their nursing home in the Brighton/Hove area. As the Deputy Manager you will support the delivery of the high-quality care that this provider is known for.
Working closely with the Home Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence, you can expect to help with the general management of the home. You will inspire a team to make sure they help every resident to enjoy the best possible quality of life which means leading by example and monitoring care standards.
The provider prides themselves in providing outstanding care and are leading experts on dementia, elderly, and residential care. They also have quality assured procedures to make sure their services are regularly assessed.
The Candidate
As the Deputy manager, you will need to be nurse qualified (RGN/RMN) and experience working with elderly residents is desirable. Finally, you will be compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care in our engaging and energetic environment.
Requirements
RGN/RMN – valid pin (Essential)
Nursing home experience (Essential)
Experience as a Unit/Deputy manager or Clinical lead (Essential)
A genuine passion for elderly/dementia care
Good communication skills
Active and clean pin

Location
This role is based within the Brighton/Hove area and would be a suitable commute from West Sussex, Worthing, Bognor Regis, East Sussex, Littlehampton, Crawley, Horsham, Arundel, Chichester, Eastbourne, Haywards Heath, Petworth, South Downs, Selsey, Uckfield and Royal Tunbridge Wells.
