Business Development Manager - Railway Cybersecurity Solutions Location: Hybrid, with visits to our workshop based in the BCIMO Birmingham About Complete Cyber: Complete Cyber is at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation, specializing in providing cutting-edge security solutions and professional services to the transportation sector. With a focus on Operational Technology (OT) systems, we are dedicated to enhancing the cybersecurity posture of the railway industry. Our latest product, a security posture assessment tool tailored for Railway OT systems, sets new standards in securing critical infrastructure against evolving cyber threats. The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our sales and business growth within the railway industry. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of the railway domain, including its business dynamics, regulatory environment, and technology landscape. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our cybersecurity professional services and our innovative security posture assessment tool, ultimately contributing to the safer operation of railway networks worldwide. Key Responsibilities: New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the railway sector, focusing on cybersecurity solutions and services. Sales Management: Take charge of the entire sales process, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient sales cycle. CRM Management: Oversee the management of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring all sales activities and customer interactions are accurately recorded and analyzed. Lead Generation: Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies, including digital marketing, networking, and direct outreach. Industry Networking: Actively network within the railway industry to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, potential clients, and partners. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within the railway cybersecurity market. Product Promotion: Champion our cybersecurity solutions, particularly our security posture assessment tool, articulating its value proposition to potential clients. Independent Working: Work autonomously to achieve sales targets, while also collaborating with the technical team to align sales strategies with product development. Requirements: Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the railway or cybersecurity sectors. Extensive knowledge of the railway industry, including operational technologies, regulatory standards, and business practices. Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and the challenges faced by OT systems in the railway domain. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently, self-motivated with a drive to succeed and achieve sales targets. Willingness to travel and network within the industry.
