This post entails the management and implementation of the School’s Growth Strategies as outlined in our Strategic / Business Plan. The post will also include providing support for the School Manager.
The post holder will be responsible for facilitating new areas of Project and Programme Development and Building Staff Capacity to ensure continuity of services; leading to furtherance of Financial Sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement growth strategies and identify new market opportunities for the achievement of income goals and targets.
- Establish marketing strategies and link to programme / project development plan to increase income across all target markets.
- Seek out and prepare Funding Applications for new project & programme activities and service contracts.
- Maintain & establish network channels to facilitate working in partnerships with other groups, agencies and contractors.
- To assist in the development and implementation of an effective digital communications strategy, including our website, digital marketing & social media.
- To assist the development and implementation of an effective PR strategy that raises the profile of the School throughout both the VCSE, Culture & Arts, Corporate and commercial sectors.
- Work with School Manager to ensure a continual process of innovation, quality assurance and customer care through ongoing monitoring and evaluation of services and data analysis.
- To assist the School Manager in the support and development of staff and tutors to meet new programme & project requirements, with future opportunities to gain line management experience.
- To conduct Training Needs Analysis and make provision for Staff Training, up-skilling and personal Development, as required.
- Oversee the implementation of an operational procedures manual.
- Support School Manager and partake in on the job training to facilitate acting-up, as and when required.
- Oversee day to day operations of project delivery.
- Engage directly with the School Manager.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 1 years programme experience of working in a business development and marketing role.
- Evidence of developing and implementing growth strategies and identifying new market opportunities.
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working in the VCSE, Cultural and Arts sectors in NI
- Evidence of establishing marketing strategies.
- Experience of designing audience development initiatives
Further Information
This post requires working outside normal office hours and will include working some evenings and weekends.
This post requires the candidate to possess a valid driving license and have the use of a car, or have access to a form of transport, with appropriate car insurance to cover Business use, which will enable the post-holder to meet the requirements of the post.
