Job description

A Live-in Housekeeper is needed in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire to assist a family manage their property to a high standard of cleanliness. They seek someone friendly and trustworthy and who can take charge of all general housekeeping duties. A driver who holds a full driving license is a must for this role. Someone pet-friendly is essential since the family owns four friendly dogs.

Working hours: 5 days a week with 2 days off, must be able to work on weekends for 50 hours per week

Accommodation: Self-contained, 1-bedroom flat separate from the house

Duties include:

loading the dishwasher/doing the dishes
dusting furniture
freshening the rooms
doing the laundry and ironing of the family
dusting
hoovering the carpets and floors
ensuring all bedrooms are always clean
polishing floor
preparing and cooking simple yet healthy and delicious meals for the family
running some errands for the family such as doing grocery shopping for the family’s supplies and paying bills
