Job description

We are currently seeking to employ an experienced Teacher of Islamic B for Jumeirah College, Dubai. This appointment is for September 2024 start.

The school

Jumeirah College is a GEMS Premium Secondary School which delivers the National Curriculum for England, offering the full range of GCSE and A level courses. The successful applicant will be required to have the following:

• Bachelor of Arts in Islamic Studies or equivalent. (Distance or open university degrees are not accepted) All certificates should be duly attested.
• 2 years experience in teaching middle school levels
• British curriculum experience teacher
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (equivalent to IELTS 6 or above)
• A mindset which understands all students have the potential for top performance, and the drive and passion to enable them to do so.
• Recent experience of teaching Islamic B in a reputable school which will enable a contribution to our enriched curriculum programme.
