Circa £300 Per Day (Inside IR35)
Irwin and Colton are delighted to be engaged by a large University to recruit an Interim Safety Hub Manager. The role is an exciting opportunity to be the lead specialist Health, Safety and Wellbeing Adviser to assigned Schools, supporting Deans, School Operations Managers, Heads of Department and being the subject matter expert in Health and Safety.
Responsibilities of the
Interim Safety Hub Manager will include:
- Implementing health and safety policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
- Reviewing the production of risk assessments and method statements and answering any health and safety related querie
- Supporting in the implementation of the University Health and Safety Strategy and Plan
- Providing health and safety support across the Institution
The successful Interim Safety Hub Manager will have:
- Proven experience in a similar Health and Safety role, ideally from within education, public sector, Universities, or similar environment
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (and relevant IOSH membership)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience influencing and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
