Description
- Contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
- Perform variance analysis to understand the difference between planned and actual figures
- Support internal and external auditing procedures
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the finance team to achieve departmental goals
- Help in the development of financial systems and processes
- Offer support in ad-hoc financial projects as required
Profile
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel - essential)
