Job description
Manage and develop the Neighbourhood Services team, ensuring clear objectives, regular feedback, and personal development plans.
Oversee enforcement of tenancy and lease terms, reducing costs and improving residents' quality of life.
Implement an effective approach to anti-social behaviour management, redirecting behaviour positively.
Lead quarterly estate inspections to maintain excellent standards and improve the environment.
Take strategic lead on void management process, minimising loss of income from void properties.
Oversee delivery of high-quality, responsive reception service, continuously improving customer satisfaction.
Control expenditure and improve value for money through budget management.
Promote equality and diversity, resolving inequalities and ensuring fair access.
Enable effective resident involvement and communication, improving resident satisfaction.
Ensure an excellent complaints and member enquiry service, driving continuous improvement.
Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to improve services.
Regularly report on key performance indicators, facilitating effective decision-making.
Champion innovation and creativity in service delivery, improving performance and reducing costs.
Assist in developing a strong performance management culture to drive improvement.
Identify and address poor performance and service weaknesses through continuous improvement.
Establish appropriate training programmes to enhance officers' skills.
Contribute to service and policy reviews, ensuring required outcomes are delivered.
Deputise on behalf of the head of neighbourhood services as required.
