Job description
As an Industrial Engineer Apprentice, you’ll help lead the Digital Transformation across all of Schneider’s sites. You’ll ensure that processes are automated and digitised whilst keeping close control on Productivity, Efficiency and Effectiveness via target measuring. You’ll also monitor Schneider’s Carbon Footprint and create action plans to reduce and eliminate the impact of the business on the environment.
Day-to-day tasks include (not limited to) the following:
Monitor Efficiency and Performance.
Creating Work Instructions and Time Studies.
Manage Investment Projects.
Participate in Improvement Workshops (Kaizen).
Map processes.
This position requires strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You’ll hold a combination of analytical abilities, technical skills, and a collaborative mindset whilst being computer literate with proficiency in MS Office Applications.
This role is open to candidates with 5 GCSE Grades including Maths, English and STEM related Subject at C or 4 or above. 3 A levels at CCC or above, to include Mathematics based subject and a STEM subject or equivalent BTECs.
