We are working with a leading manufacturer in the injection molding industry, specializes in delivering high-quality technical molded products to esteemed clients within various market sectors. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Control Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems and components to required specifications, focusing on efficiency, reliability, safety and sustainability. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

The successful Control Systems Engineer will be responsible for:

• Design, develop, and implement control systems for various manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse system requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Develop detailed electrical and control system designs, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
• Write and debug control software for PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) systems.
• Integrate control systems with existing manufacturing equipment and ensure seamless operation.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of control systems to guarantee functionality and efficiency.
• Perform regular maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, collaborating with maintenance and production teams as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies in all control system designs and implementations.

The successful Control Systems Engineer will have:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and implementing control systems in an industrial setting, preferably in plastics manufacturing.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and HMI development.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and instrumentation
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to control systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
