Trade Marketer – Automotive Aftermarket

An exciting opportunity for a Trade Marketer / Marketing Assistant to support marketing activities including pricing , product launches and sales material , has arisen with a leader in automotive parts, synonymous with quality, technical excellence and first-class customer support. The Trade Marketer / Marketing Assistant will also work closely with the data team, providing performance metrics to support campaigns, promotions and pricing strategies.

The Role

• Create and manage content supporting customer initiatives including events, merchandise, and promotions.
• Work closely with pricing and data colleagues to support customer pricing and customer rebate workstreams.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies.
• Analyse marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
• Contribute to the improvement of our online channels, including the company websites and social media platforms, and emails.
• Create high-quality and diverse marketing content that resonates with our target audience.
• Follow brand guidelines in execution of all responsibilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and customer satisfaction enhancement.

The Candidate

• Our ideal candidate will have a recognised marketing qualification / degree alongside proven experience in a marketing role.
• Automotive aftermarket experience is preferable, although candidates with a product / distribution background will also be considered.
• A creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative marketing content, copy and design.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and metrics for departmental performance reporting.
• Experience of Adobe Creative programs or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required for this role.
