Job description

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Financial Controller for a nationwide manufacturing business that has one of their most prominent manufacturing sites based on the outskirts of Pontefract.

The Role

Reporting into the UK Finance Director, the Financial Controller will have a wide remit of responsibility ranging from day to day management of the finance function, through to providing finance guidance to Managing Director and other members of the Senior Management Team.

Duties and responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:

• Managing a small, successful finance team based at the Pontefract site.
• Overseeing the production of Monthly Management Accounts
• Analyse and review Monthly results with the Managing Director and wider Senior Management Team
• Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly re-forecasting process
• Complete year end statutory accounts and liaise with auditors

The Candidate

To be considered for the role we welcome applications from candidates with the following:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualifications
• Previous experience in business partnering with Senior Stakeholders
• Strong communicator and influencer
• Advanced excel skills

Salary & Benefits

In return, the successful Financial Controller will receive the following:

• £70,000 - £75,000 base salary
• 25 days holidays
