What you'll be doing

Join us at Greencore as the Group Manager of Services and Facilities!

As the Group Manager of Services and Facilities, you will be responsible for managing site-based facilities across the Greencore group (manufacturing sites and distribution depots!).

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Identifying, prioritising and creating CapEx proposals to maintain and develop site infrastructures in line with Group/Team strategic objectives
• Ensuring maintenance of operational services including: Refrigeration, Steam Generation, Effluent Treatment Plants, Electrical Services and Building Fabrication
• Ensuring sites have appropriate accreditations and permits and are operating in compliance with all relevant legislative standards
• Directing and monitoring all site services contracts and works performed to ensure compliance with site and regulatory safety standards and delivery in line with contracted agreements
• Set and manage annual budgets related to services costs, balancing efficient and effectiveness to ensure services are provided within agreed parameter

** Location for this role is flexible but travel to sites across the UK will be required **

As the Group Manager of Services and Facilities, you will utilise your utilities and systems-optimisation knowledge as well have having:

• Relevant degree or membership of a recognised professional body
• Familiarity with Building Management Systems
• Proven track record of managing multiple group service contracts
• Experience operating at a group management level within an appropriate manufacturing environment
• Awareness of budgetary management relating to service contracts
• Experience in dealing with insurers and health and safety
