Job Title: Food Production Team Leader

Location: Redditch

Salary: £12.30 – £12.90 p/h

Hours: Mon- Fri 6am-3pm

Purpose: To manage and control the daily running of production lines to the correct speeds/manning's and maintaining the correct product quality.

This role has a responsibility for food safety, health and safety and brand integrity.

Key responsibilities:

• Able to show problem solving qualities
• Pro-active approach to daily and long term issues as they arise
• To understand the mechanics of the machinery and carry out tool changes and line changes each day
• Self-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines under pressure
• Committed to continuous improvement within their environment
• Well organised and able to react to the needs of the business
• Supportive and committed to the manufacturing team and all other areas of the business
• Work to good hygiene and housekeeping practices set out by the company, keeping your work area clean and tidy
• Ensure product is of good quality, complete quality checks as you work

Knowledge & experience:

• Experience in a fast chilled food manufacturing environment (Advantageous)
• Must be fluent in English speaking, reading, and writing to fulfil all aspects of role i.e., being able to communicate in the business language (English), complete legal paperwork and understand company policies and procedures
