Job description
We are seeking a Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 qualified) for a small and friendly setting near Richmond. You would be joining a passionate team where every staff member plays a crucial role in creating a warm and engaging space for the children.
They are a short walk from the overland train station and cultivate a supportive atmosphere for professional growth. As a Nursery Practitioner you will working with children from 0-5 years in an environment where they prioritise individualised care, continual learning, outdoor play, inclusivity and sustainability and a team that that values teamwork, creativity, and the joy of early childhood education.
In addition to an excellent salary you can expect 25 days holiday plus Bank holidays for a 40 hour week, although part time hours may be considered. This is a growing team which offers a clear path to career growth and progression opportunities.
Responsibilities: - Build good relationships with the children and their parents to support emotional well-being and learning
- Act as a key person, taking responsibility for planned learning experiences across all areas, both indoor and outdoor
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
- Make observations and assessments, and maintain records to map each child’s progress
- Nurture the childrens’ language development and support the use of home languages
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Level 3 in childcare or equivalent
- Previous recent experience of working in a nursery environment
- DBS required
