Job description

The Directorate of Finance and Legal Services is recruiting for a full time, fixed term (12 months) Student Funding Administrator.

As Student Funding Administrator you will be responsible for the accurate charging, collection and allocation of all home, full time, undergraduate tuition fees and will be working closely with the Student Loans Company.

The role involves:
- Acting as the first point of contact for all queries from undergraduate / postgraduate students about tuition fee and maintenance loan funding
- Responsible for completing tasks on the SLC SIS database, such as attendance confirmation and form submission
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate return of SLC Attendance Confirmation reports
- Assessment of student eligibility for Brookes Bursary and setup of payment information as required.

You will have:
- Good general education preferably studying towards AAT
- Experience of working in a large databases in a busy working environment
- Experience of working to set deadlines / ability to prioritise
- Excellent communication and numeracy skills
- Be proactive, flexible and enthusiastic.
