Description
We are seeking a meticulous and responsible Chapel Door Attendant to join our team. As a Chapel Door Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and organized operation of our chapel. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in maintaining a calm and respectful environment for visitors. This is a Grade C position, offering an opportunity for growth and career development.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome visitors to the chapel, providing them with information and assistance as needed.
Monitor and maintain security at the chapel entrance, verifying credentials and ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
Assist in coordinating chapel events and ceremonies, including setting up and arranging seating arrangements.
Manage and maintain accurate records of visitors attending chapel events, ensuring appropriate documentation and reporting.
Ensure chapel facilities and common areas are clean and presentable at all times.
Respond to visitor inquiries, concerns, and complaints, escalating issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
Collaborate with other chapel staff to ensure a seamless workflow and exceptional visitor experience.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a customer service or similar role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
Knowledge of basic security protocols and procedures.
Ability to handle and resolve conflicts in a professional and courteous manner.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £12.18
