The Role: Financial Controller
The Salary: 80,000 - £95,000 + Benefits
The Location: Covent Garden, London
The Opportunity: We are partnering exclusively with a leading Private Equity-backed SaaS business headquartered in London.
They are looking for someone to provide support to the Head of Finance and be a strong number 2 to them. This a new role that will play a key role in the success of the group and is a great opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced, growing PE-backed business.
The Role: - Work closely with the Head of Finance to manage the company's accounting, reporting, tax, financial operations and compliance functions
- Design and implement financial and operating controls and processes to support company objectives in an environment of continuous improvement
- Build budgets and forecasts
- Manage and develop finance team members
- Implement and maintain the company's financial reporting including management accounts, IFRS reporting and non-IFRS metrics
- Project manage the company's global audits and strategic finance projects in partnership with internal stakeholders and the company's external auditors and advisors
- Manage the finance function's communication with customers and internal departments
- Drive efficiency and process improvements in the order-to-cash cycle and the management of working capital
Work closely with the leadership team in corporate finance transactions (international expansion, M&A, due diligence etc)

This will suit an individual either based in London or someone who is based elsewhere and is open to going into the offices 2 days a week.
Key requirements: - Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Must have experience working in a SaaS business.
- Thorough technical knowledge, including management accounting and financial reporting
- Subject expert, with a number of yearspost-qualification experience
- Has prior experience with financial audits
- A solid understanding of IFRS and tax principles
- Working knowledge of relevant statutory legislation and regulations
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet monthly deadlines
