Job description

Our client, an international law firm with offices across Europe and in the UK, dealing with corporate and commercial cases, is looking for a Litigation Associate based in their London office on a full-time basis (no hybrid scheme). The successful applicant will be providing high quality legal services to the firm’s clients, predominantly in relation to high-value commercial disputes with a cross-border element. The successful candidate will join a dynamic and exceptionally busy team which deals with international litigation.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Drafting motions
• Conducting legal research
• Appearing in court
• Case management
• Supporting the firm’s Partners with their work

The ideal candidate will have the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when it comes to managing and prioritise multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously

Profile:

• Strong knowledge of substantive law and litigation procedures
• Experience with drafting legal pleadings
• Excellent research skills, including experience with legal databases and search tools, such as E-Discovery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with document management and eDiscovery software
