What you will do in your working day
Boot Buddy Ltd is looking to employ an ambitious and keen apprentice to join their family-run business. You would be a key member of a small team to run their busy sales/administration office.
- Taking orders via telephone and in person
- Processing card payments via an online terminal or card machine
- Processing online orders
- Answering the telephone and answering queries
- Greeting customers and visitors
- General filing, entering data and keeping files up to date
- Booking customer collections and deliveries
- General filing, entering data in the CRM database and keeping files up to date
- Booking customer collections and deliveries with different couriers
- Taking part in trade shows
- Social Media - To assist in overseeing social media relating to the website. This will include answering questions people send in and to offer competitions, promotions, etc. To understand how these social network sites work and how to optimise the best performance from them on a business level
- Email marketing - to new and existing customers
- Website administration - adding, editing products online and maintenance
- Some graphic design and photo/video editing may be included
Any other duties appropriate to the post. Increased responsibilities are available depending on performance.
The training you will be getting
You will be required to attend classes at Kidderminster College one day a week to achieve the level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
There may be the possibility of a full-time administration position for the right candidate.
