A leading global investment bank is looking to hire a junior analyst into their operations team.

The Role

A great opportunity for a recent graduate to break into the world of investment banking and join the trade operations team. You will initially work on the reference data team and will liaise with internal teams and vendors to produce insight on the performance of related investment products and then assist with the creation of related reports. As you gain knowledge you can expect to work on wider data led projects across operations, treasury, settlements and collateral management. 

What Can I Expect?

You will go straight into role and start working on live projects from day 1. During this time you will be mentored and supported by your manager and team and can expect a blend of 1-1 and formal training. As and when you are ready you will take on wider responsibilities until you are ready to take full ownership of projects. 

What we are looking for:

We can consider applications from any degree background, but particularly encourage those from business, finance and numerate disciplines. This is an immediate opportunity and we are looking for people who can start work in April. In addition you should:

• Have a demonstrable interest in and understanding of investment banking and investment products
• Knowledge of data-oriented tools (SQL preferred)
• Clear confident communication with a desire to work in a role where collaboration is key
• An appetite to challenge current processes and procedures
