Job description
Responsibilities: Carry out baseline observations such as pulse oximetry, blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate,- weight, height and record the findings accurately Undertake NHS Health Checks and new patient health checks Facilitate home and 24hr BP monitoring Basic wound care and dressings Carry out ECGs Venepuncture Urinalysis Administer B12 injections and Flu vaccinations Act as a chaperone as required Support the Practice Nurse with the management of long term conditions Attending training and events organised by the practice or other agencies, where appropriate Support duties: Ensure all clinical rooms are restocked Order basic supplies e.g. phlebotomy equipment, needles, syringes. Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of all areas
