Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest levels of standards and service across our restaurants, bars, and meetings and events. You will lead and develop our team, create memorable guest experiences, and contribute to the positive financial performance of our food and beverage sales.
Responsibilities:
1. Deliver exceptional hospitality, creating a warm, friendly, and caring atmosphere for our guests.
2. Provide product knowledge and standards training to Restaurant and Bar hosts, ensuring they are well-informed and capable of delivering excellent service.
3. Contribute to the positive financial performance of food and beverage sales through effective upselling, cost control, and inventory management.
4. Train, evaluate, and mentor your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensuring high-quality and consistent performance.
5. Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, health and safety, and cellar management in accordance with regulations and company policies.
6. Ensure the smooth running of service by establishing strong communication channels with the Kitchen, Restaurant, Bar, and Meetings and Events teams.
7. Work collaboratively with your team, providing support, guidance, and fostering a positive and fun working environment.
8. Demonstrate a passion for hospitality and create memorable experiences for guests and colleagues alike.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a supervisory role in food and beverage operations is required.
2. Excellent knowledge of restaurant and bar service standards, product offerings, and best practices.
3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
4. Self-motivated and proactive, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to cleanliness and tidiness.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
6. Knowledge of quality control, hygiene, health and safety, and cellar management practices.
7. Passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests.
