Structured OTC Derivatives, Senior Legal Counsel, 4+Leading fiduciary investment firm, looking to appoint an experienced OTC Derivatives lawyer to their investments and markets legal team in London.With one direct report, you will be responsible for managing legal, risk and compliance aspects of investments and markets activities, advise the portfolio management team in relation to derivatives (equity and fixed income) and structured products, develop strategies to manage regulatory changes affecting funding. This is a broad role to advise on legal, commercial and regulatory matters impacting trading activities of the firm's clients and to build and manage strong relationships across all business teams and functions. You will liaise with a variety of stakeholders including board, Ex Co, trustees of clients and senior advisors.You will have trained and qualified at a top City law firm, have circa 4-10 years' PQE advising international banks as well as buyside institutions including corporates and pension funds in a variety of derivatives, structured products and structured finance transactions across a wide range of asset classes. Experience in custody and stock lending would be a plus.This is a rare opportunity for a technically strong lawyer to join a friendly and collegiate legal team for their first In-House move or for a derivatives lawyer currently at a bank or buy/sell-side financial institution, looking to make the move into the buy-side.
