Housing Compliance Officer
Telford and Wrekin – Hybrid working
Part-Time - 15 hours per week – flexible; Permanent
£30,000 per annum pro-rata (based upon experience)

As a Housing Compliance Worker what does the role entail:

Your day will consist of …
• To manage own workload and schedule to ensure completion of annual property inspections ensuring appropriate notification and communication with managing agents.
• Monitoring of managing agent compliance relating to the Regulatory Standards
• Collection and reporting of quarterly KPI information.
• Review of building management questionnaires and collection of appropriate evidence.
• Communication and support to managing agents to include but not exclusive of tenant issues, complaints, and repairs.
• Monitoring of tenant satisfaction questionnaires.
• Reporting to YMCA Blackburn CEO.
• Support and address managing agents to work in line with management agreements and ensure support and delivery of services remain compliant with legislative and regulative requirements.

This job is for you, if…
• You have experience working within Social Housing and more specifically Supported Housing Setting (desirable but not essential)
• You have a housing qualification to level 4 or above (desirable however must be willing to work towards if this has not already been achieved).
• Fully I.T literate in all Microsoft Packages
• You have good communication skills both written and verbal.
• You have a calm personable nature and find appropriate resolutions when handling conflict or difficult issues.
• You are a resilient and confident team worker who can work on their own initiative or work as part of a remote team.
• Able to manage own workload, schedule and able to work away from home as and when required visiting sites.
