Job description

Our client seeks a Part Time Credit Controller (20 Hours) to join their team. Role Profile: To effectively manage the credit control function for all premiums derived from annual premiums, additional premiums and ad hoc credits to members and provide efficient resolution of customer queries with excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities: Deal with over 300 shipping companies. Provide breakdowns to accounts for incoming premiums at least twice daily. Contact members for breakdowns. Once funds have been allocated on a daily basis send updated statements. Chase overdue premiums in accordance with procedures. Produce ad hoc reports. Arrange payments at members request. Assist with the twice-yearly credit notes to members. Assist with other ad hoc credit notes to members. Respond efficiently to member questions. Become proficient in using internal systems. Key Skills and Responsibilities: Previous office experience Experience a similar role. Enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to learn. Excellent attention to detail. Customer service skills. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Should be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. Able to work under pressure.
