Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive History lessons to primary/secondary school students.
• Create and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with educational standards and school objectives.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance to facilitate growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings, sharing best practices and contributing to curriculum development.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Establish effective communication channels with students, parents, and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely manner.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in History or a related field, along with relevant teaching certifications.
• Proven experience as a History teacher, preferably in a primary/secondary school setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the History curriculum and the ability to develop engaging lesson plans.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Effective organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with educational technology tools.
