Job description
As an IC Validation Manager for FlexICs, you'll spearhead a small team of skilled engineers, ensuring the robustness and performance of our innovative circuits. You'll craft comprehensive validation plans, implement rigorous testing methodologies, and dissect technical challenges with exceptional acumen. 1. Leadership and Team Development:
o Provide strategic guidance and technical mentorship to your team of IC Validation Engineers, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
o Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring optimal workload distribution and maximizing team efficiency.
o Establish and maintain a collaborative and results-oriented environment where innovation thrives.
2. FlexIC-Specific Validation Expertise:
o Design and implement customized validation plans tailored to the unique characteristics of FlexICs, including diverse substrates and unconventional form factors.
o Collaborate closely with design engineers to optimize testability and facilitate early problem identification.
o Develop and manage a comprehensive test suite covering all critical functional and performance metrics of FlexIC designs.
3. Rigorous Testing and Problem-Solving:
o Oversee the execution of validation tests across various platforms, encompassing hardware, software, and firmware solutions.
o Analyze test results with meticulous attention to detail, pinpointing failures and driving their timely resolution.
o Lead cross-functional collaborations with design, manufacturing, and other teams to uncover root causes and implement corrective actions.
4. Continuous Improvement and Automation:
oChampion the adoption of new validation methodologies and automation tools to optimize efficiency and enhance process effectiveness.
o Develop and document best practices, ensuring knowledge transfer and facilitating future FlexIC validation endeavours.
5. Effective Communication and Collaboration:
o Translate complex technical findings into clear and concise reports for senior management and stakeholders.
