CONTROLS ENGINEER - MACHINERY DESIGN AND BUILD

Your Credentials: Ideally, you hold an Engineering degree or a distinguished BTEC Higher Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Your Technical Odyssey:
- Develop and optimise PLC and HMI software for diverse platforms, showcasing your autonomy with minimal assistance.
- Engineer precise electrical hardware parts lists and control panels, all meticulously aligned with contract specifications.
- Define the technical requirements for our acquired equipment, demonstrating your prowess in hardware synchronisation.
- Formulate machine test specifications that blend flawless functionality with innovative design.
- Conduct equipment tests in our assembly shop and troubleshoot on-site when necessary, bringing your technical acumen to both office and field.
- Provide technical and commissioning support to our Installation & Commissioning/Customer Services teams, seamlessly blending digital expertise with real-world application.
- Contribute to research and development initiatives, cementing your role as a key player in our innovation endeavours.
- Infuse your coding prowess into proposal and quote processes, eloquently articulating the technological brilliance behind the algorithms.
- Keep our teams informed with briefings on specs and the latest technological advancements for our sales, commercial, manufacturing, customer services, and installation & commissioning divisions.

Your Professional Profile:

- Previous experience in installing and commissioning process equipment is a plus. Proficiency in programming and fault-finding on PLC systems is desirable, and on-site training will be provided as needed.
