Job description
NXT is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our client’s HR team. The HR Administrator will play a key role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management, and HR compliance. This position requires excellent administrative skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The HR Administrator will be responsible for ensuring smooth HR operations and providing exceptional support to both employees and the HR team.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job vacancies, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communication
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting background checks, and coordinating new hire orientation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations
- Process HR-related paperwork, such as employment contracts, changes in employment status, and benefits enrolment forms
- Assist with employee offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and processing termination paperwork
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, providing timely and accurate information
- Assist with HR reporting and data analysis, generating reports on HR metrics and trends as needed
- Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring adherence to employment laws and regulations
- Assist with HR projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices
- Maintain confidentiality of HR information and handle sensitive employee data with discretion
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices is preferred but not essential
