Job description

Our client in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, is seeking an Engineering Estimator to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an office based position.

Working as an Engineering Estimator, you will provide price proposals and create quotations as well as providing responses to technical questions from clients.

As an Engineering Estimator, duties and responsibilities will include: 

• Liaising with production, manufacturing, and quality teams to provide precise quotes and proposals to customer requirements
• Following up and providing responses to enquires from clients and getting feedback from customers
• Using Excel and proprietary software with the upmost accuracy to interpret customer requirements from specifications and drawings

Candidate Profile:

• Understanding of manufacturing principles
• Experience in sheet metal/fabrication, with automotive or motorsport exposure being highly desirable.
• Demonstrated customer service expertise in a B2B environment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.

In return, the company is offering a package of £24,000 – £32,000 DOE, 25 Days holiday in addition to Bank Holidays. Staff parking, paid overtime, cycle scheme
